Student Membership

When you join AAWCC, you join the only national organization working for the concerns of all women, professionals and students, in community, junior, and technical colleges. Southwestern's chapter is growing each year and making a difference in women's lives.

Student Dues: $5/year
(Checks should be made payable to SWOCC AAWCC)

Get involved by becoming a member of your local, state and national AAWCC organizations. The American Association of Women in Community Colleges:

  • Encourages professional development for all women in community colleges
  • Supports women in leadership roles
  • Develops communication among women in community colleges
  • Promotes and offers local and state workshops
  • Disseminates information on courses, programs, and services for professional women

Any person interested in supporting the chapter mission becomes a member by paid participation in any state sponsored event or by payment of the state dues. The term of membership shall be for a minimum of 12 months and shall terminate at the end of the calendar year in which the member has had 12 full months of membership.
