College Goal Oregon event planned in Brookings

Filling out federal financial aid forms can be a daunting task but Southwestern Oregon Community College is providing help for students in Curry County this month.

College Goal Oregon, a coordinated statewide effort to help students and families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid – the required application for most need-based federal, state and campus-based financial aid – will kick off from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, in Room 102 of Brookings-Harbor High School. A team of trained volunteers from Southwestern and Brookings-Harbor High School will be on hand providing assistance.
