Southwestern Oregon Community College is offering the opportunity for students to enrich their lives with stories.

By taking Introduction to Fiction (ENG 104), students will have the opportunity to participate in reading, analysis and gain appreciation for significant works of fiction, with emphasis placed on the fiction writer’s craft. Class is scheduled from 9 to 9:50 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays throughout Spring Term.

The course can be taken for three college-level credits or audited for no credit at a reduced rate. Students who complete this course can apply those credits to the Arts and Letters requirements for the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree.

To register for classes, those interested can go online to www.socc.edu or visit the Southwestern Student First Stop.
