Southwestern faculty music recital slated in June

The Southwestern Oregon Community College Music Department faculty recital is scheduled at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, in the Hales Center for the Performing Arts on the Coos Bay campus.

Admission to the event is free and there will be a reception following the recital, which will include performances by Charlotte McLauchlin (piano), Blake McGee (clarinet), Myriam Harvey (violin and viola), Eleanore Montagna (clarinet) and Mike Turner (guitar).

They will be performing works composed by Dmitri Shostakovitch, L. Farrenc, Aaron Copeland, A.I. Gretry, Debussy, Corelli and others.
