National Student Employee Month

During this week long appreciation of students, workers, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to recognize the essential contributions student employees make to our campus. Each day, student employees work in many different departments giving faculty and staff the capability to concentrate additional time and efforts to students, parents and visitors.

We are not Southwestern without our dedicated students! Please join us in saying, “Thank you for helping us make Southwestern Oregon Community College a better place to work and learn,” by recognizing student employees during Student Employee Week.
In addition to recognizing all our students, staff and faculty may choose to recognize an exceptional student employee by nominating that student for Student Employee of the Year.

To nominate a student, please complete the attached nomination form and submit it to Makayla Pedey, Financial Aid Student Employment Coordinator, no later than April 4, 2008. Mark your calendars! The celebration to recognize our student employees will be Wednesday, April 16, 2008, 2:00 pm, at the OCCI. There will be drawings and awards to recognize their many contributions to the campus community.
