Southwestern announces holiday hours

Southwestern Oregon Community College is announcing that all campuses in Coos and Curry counties – with the exception of the Rec Center facility and state offices housed in the Newmark Center in Coos Bay – will be closed for the holidays starting Friday, Dec. 21, and re-opening on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

Southwestern Public Safety professionals will be keeping the campus secure during the holiday break, with all staff returning on Jan. 2 to prepare for Winter Term classes set to begin Monday, Jan. 7.

While the Rec Center will be open during most of that time period, it will be closed Dec. 23 through 25 and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. From Dec. 26 through 28, the Rec Center will run on special hours, from 6 to 9 a.m. and noon to 7 p.m. It will be open regular hours all other days.
