Short Bio - Dr. Judith M.L. Hansen

Judith Hansen came to Southwestern in July 2005 from the presidency at Independence Community College in Independence, Kansas. Previous community college experience includes being the Executive Vice-President at Waubonsee Community College in Chicago, Illinois; the President at Olney Central College in Olney, Illinois; American Association of Community Colleges Executive Board; American Association of Community Colleges Board of Directors; and the Satellite Campus Director and instructor at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Dr. Hansen received a bachelors degree in Sociology, a masters in Counseling, and a doctorate in Higher Education from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
