Basic Nursing Assistant Course

This course prepares a Basic Nursing Assistant to be eligible for certification as out lined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. The student is prepared to care for clients in a variety of settings including long-term care, intermediate care, home health, hospice care, acute care, foster care, and assisted living situations.

Prerequisites: The Basic Nursing Assistant course is a restricted entry course, requiring pre-application testing, health assessment, immunizations, and criminal history background checks. Please refer to the attached application materials for the complete application process and procedures.

  2. Under Admission Information click on Search for Classes.
  3. Select the term that you plan to attend
  4. Select the Subject and the course number from the above 'Required courses for this certificate.'
    For example: If you are looking for ECE 154 Children's Literature and Literacy, select the Subject Early Childhood Education and the course number 154.
    (If you want to see all of the Early Childhood Education classes scheduled during a specific term just select the term and the subject.)
  5. Click on Submit
