Southwestern’s Annual Campus Crime/Fire Safety combined report is now available. This report is required by federal law and contains policy statements and crime statistics for SWOCC. The policy statements address SWOCC’s policies, procedures and programs concerning safety and security, crime prevention, fire safety, Campus Security enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures, responding to emergency situations and sexual offenses, amongst other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. The report also contains three years’ worth of statistics for certain types of crimes that were reported to have occurred on campus, in or on off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the school and on public property within or immediately adjacent to the campus. The report contains the above information for the Curry Campus.
The report also contains information on Fire Safety compliance and statistics in Student Housing. This report is required by the Higher Education Opportunity Act (Public Law 110-315) which contains policy statements and statistical information.
