ALLAN LEDESMA
Women's Soccer Coach

Allan has been involved as a soccer coach on the Oregon Coast for almost 20 years.  He has coached at all levels including Club, High School and College, and is included in "Who's Who among American Teachers" as a coach.  Donating his time to the community throughout the year, you will see him coaching soccer almost daily and during the summer, running summer soccer camp for the Boys and Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon.  Allan founded EPUERTO soccer club and in the first year had over 100 kids (7 teams).  This spring, the U18 Boys won the Memorial Day Tournament Gold Division in Springfield.  All EPUERTO teams did well, and the U11 team lost only one game during the entire season.

A soccer player all his life, Allan played for his high school and different teams in Peru.  While still in high school he played on a men's traveling team that played against teams in California and Oregon (Eugene and Portland areas) and the team was very successful.  He has great memories from those games even when he was the only one who couldn't celebrate with the team after dinner.

Allan then graduated from San Ignacio, the Loyola Technical Institute in Lima, Peru in Computer Sciences.  After working in our Bay area for several years, he became the founder and owner of EPUERTO (computer systems and websites) based in North Bend.  He enjoys playing outdoor soccer, indoor soccer, court soccer (just won first place in doubles in Salem at the 2011 International Court Soccer Tournament and third place in singles), tennis soccer and anything where a soccer ball is involved.

Allan has been taking teams (and also playing) to tournaments from Portland to Northern California.  His teams have done well, winning and placing often.  His traveling indoor teams have participated in the Eugene, Springfield, Grants Pass and Chico (CA) tournaments since 1994 and also participated in the Hyundai Cup Tournament.

For the past nine years, Allan has offered a free soccer camp averaging 280 kids per year, all possible with the great support of local businesses and friends who sponsor the camp.  Kids come from near and far to learn soccer and teaming skills and enjoy meeting seasoned players, local team players and generous community volunteers.  Allan is very proud of the EPUERTO Soccer Club that represents our great community and has produced many successful players.  Allan has coached several players who have played soccer locally at SWOCC and other states' colleges.  Allan's goal is to develop a solid program that teaches the beauty of soccer where players develop their skills, play as a team, and enjoy the best game in the world.
