Regalia will be available in May for purchase in the SWOCC Bookstore. Regalia does not require pre-ordering, come into the bookstore and we will help you find your size. If you are a distance student send an email and we will help you place an order for your regalia.

Caps & Gowns

Graduation at the Southwestern Oregon Community College is going green. Students graduating in Spring 2011 will be wearing caps and gowns that are environmentally friendly. A lot of graduates wind up with a robe that they don't know what to do with. With our new gowns you can participate, have something nice to wear in the ceremony, yet it won't harm our environment. The caps and gowns are being supplied by Jostens and are part of "The Elements Collection." They are made of natural fiber from renewable, managed forests, proven to decompose in the soil. The zipper is made of recycled pop bottles. The button on the cap is made of metal. These are the only two parts of the outfit that are not biodegradable but they can be recycled. Even the packaging that the clothing is purchased in is recyclable. Graduates also have the option to give back $1 of their purchase to an environmental sustainability project.

2011 Graduation regalia will include a 50th anniversary zipper pull medallion.
