Associate of Applied Science Degree

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree is intended to prepare students for direct entry into the workforce. It develops a student’s employment skills while
maintaining a recognizable core of general education courses. The student’s transcript will designate the occupational program in the degree title. It is a nationally recognized degree, approved by the State Board of Education and is granted upon completion of a two-year designated professional/technical program (30 of the last 45 credits must be completed at Southwestern).
