Associate of Applied Science in Turf and Landscape TechnologyAssociate Degree [pdf] | Department The Associate of Applied Science in Turf and Landscape Technology program provides students with the skills needed to begin a career in the field of turf and landscape technology. This degree provides students with the necessary technical skills and knowledge for employment in the golf, landscape, and ground and equipment maintenance fields. This program is developed in collaboration with businesses to give students current information and skill development for employment. Students take the courses for a variety of reasons including upgrading skills and knowledge, obtaining a degree, or retraining for a new profession. This is in keeping with the institution’s mission of providing high quality education that enables students to achieve their goals. The knowledge and skills gained in these courses may also be applied in preparing for certificates from the Golf Course Superintendent’s Association of America and/or Professional Landcare Network (PLANET). |
