One Year Certificate Emergency Medical TechnicianThe Emergency Medical Technician Certificate of Completion enables students completing required coursework to transfer all their courses directly into one of several Associate Degree paramedic programs that exist at two-year colleges in Oregon, which will complete an Associate Degree with one additional year of coursework. Students entering this program must be 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma; obtain satisfactory placement exam results in reading, writing, and math, and obtain required immunizations. Students should contact the EMS training advisor for further information. At the end of the EMT-Basic course, students will be eligible to take the written and practical exams required for certification as an EMT-Basic in Oregon. |
