ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY

ENV235 Introduction to Soil Science
4 credits (3 lec, 3 lab hrs/wk)
An introduction to the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil as
influenced by climate and geologic processes. Emphasis is placed on the understanding of soil processes and includes issues of disturbance, erosion, productivity, and conservation. The behavior of water in soil and soil-water interactions will also be discussed.
