PH201 General Physics I- Mechanics

5 credits (4 lec 3 lab hrs/wk) Study of the physical properties and interactions of mechanics, sound, heat, light, electricty, magnetism and optics. Includes labertatory activities. Must be taken in sequence.

PH202 General Physics II - Heat, Waves, Relativity

5 credits (4 lec 3 lab hrs/wk) Study of the physical properties and interactions of mechanics, sound, heat, light, electricty, magnetism and optics. Includes labertatory activities. Must be taken in sequence.

PH203 General Physics III - Elecrticity and Magnetism

5 credits (4 lec 3 lab hrs/wk) Study of the physical properties and interactions of mechanics, sound, heat, light, electricty, magnetism and optics. Includes labertatory activities. Must be taken in sequence.

PH211/212/213 General Physics with Calculus

5 credits/term  (4 lec, 3 lab hrs/wk)  Study of the physical properties and interactions of mechanics, sound, heat, light, electricity, magnetism and optics. For science and engineering majors. Includes laboratory activities. Must be taken in sequence. Prerequisite: MTH112 with a “C” or better.  Concurrent: MTH251 with PH211; MTH252 with PH212; and MTH253 with PH213.
