Money: Dual Credit classes are free to students taking college courses taught by high school teachers at the high school. Credits are placed on high school and college transcripts.
Credits: The college credits earned during high school are almost always transferable to any Oregon community college program and many four-year higher education institutions.
Transition: This program provides students the opportunity to take college level coursework while still in the high school leading to a smooth, clear transition to the higher education setting. Student success in the program helps to define educational and career goals.
High Standards: The coordination of curriculum and course content between high school and Southwestern faculty ensures that students meet college standards.
Time: Students can train for a professional technical career or take a significant step toward higher education while still in high school.
