Buying your textbooks is easy!

Curry Classes
If you are taking a class that meets in Curry County, your books will be available for purchase at the Brookings Campus. Students who live in Gold Beach or Port Orford can request to have their books dropped off at the Gold Beach office.

Online Classes
If you are taking an online class, you will order your textbooks through the online bookstore. To order, go to www.socc.bkstr.com. Books will be shipped to your home address. If you are receiving financial aid and would like to charge your books, please contact the campus bookstore for instructions at 541 888-7264.

Chemeketa classes
If you are taking a Chemeketa class that is hosted by Southwestern, you need to order your books through the Chemeketa’s online bookstore. Go to http://bookstore.chemeketa.edu/home.aspx.

Book Buyback

Sell your used textbooks for instant cash!

• Book buy-back is held at the Brookings Campus during finals week of each term. Check with the Brookings or Gold Beach office or the term schedule for exact times and dates.
• The Bookstore will buy back only those books that will be used the following term for which existing stock is inadequate.
• Textbooks which are bundled with CD's, DVD's, study guides, and other components must be returned with all the pieces to be eligible for buyback.
• Not all titles will be bought back. Titles not in use by Southwestern or titles that have met the quantity requirements for the bookstore may be eligible to be purchased at wholesale prices.
• 50% of retail price will be paid for texts needed by Southwestern for the next term, only during finals week.

Spring Term Book Buyback
March 19 - 22 for students with a receipt from the Southwestern bookstore. Those without receipts can sell books back March 21 and 22.
