Applications for the spring Basic Nursing Assistant (BNA) training in Brookings are now available. Completed applications are due March 11, 2013 and can be turned in at the Curry Campus or the Gold Beach Center. Successful completion of this course provides eligibility to take the state certification exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The student is prepared to care for clients in a variety of settings including long-term care, intermediate care, home health, hospice care, acute care, foster care, and assisted living situations. 

 

Prerequisites: The Basic Nursing Assistant course is a restricted entry course, requiring pre-application testing, health assessment, immunizations, and criminal history background checks.
