Coos Bay, OR – The Transitional Education Department, a college and career preparation program at Southwestern Oregon Community College, will be offering GED exam preparation, college and career preparation and college placement test preparation this upcoming term. Students can build a pipeline to enter college, training programs and jobs in high-demand career areas.
Orientation is scheduled for January 6th at 9:00 am in the Newmark Center directly across from Wal-Mart, room 204, on the second floor, please call for more information. New students please call 541-888-7116 to reserve a space for winter orientation.
Classes will be held Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, plus evening classes will be held Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Transitional Education hours are: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
We also offer GED classes in Coquille, Port Orford, Gold Beach and Brookings.
The cost per term is $50.
Winter term 2014 will run from January 6th through March 21st, 2014.
