Brookings, Oregon- The Southwestern Oregon Small Business Development Center is offering a 10-week comprehensive training series for business owners that currently use or would like to use QuickBooks. This is a 10-week interactive series giving business professionals a comprehensive overview of QuickBooks Pro 2012, and includes an easy-to-use 500 page comprehensive manual and free trial software included in the cost of the class, which will help make concepts easy to understand, even for those with no accounting experience. This also includes one-on-one mentoring.
The 10-week series covers all the basic QuickBook Pro 2012 functionalities: company creation, vendors, customers, banking, error correction, inventory, payroll, fixed assets, long-term liabilities, estimates, time tracking, accounting cycle, and end-of-period reporting.
The 10-week series begins Monday, April 22, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm, and will continue every Monday evening for 10 weeks ending July 1st (no class on Mon., May 27th). The location for the class is Southwestern Oregon Community College – Curry Campus.
The cost for the entire series is $315 (discounted to $220 for Chamber members and Tribal businesses). Enrollment is very limited and preregistration is required. You must be enrolled by Friday, April 12th to be sure class makes enrollment requirements or the class will be cancelled.
