Restore and Rejuvenate with Arts and Crafts

Southwestern Oregon Community College, Gold Beach Center, is offering an art and crafts workshop in Port Orford this fall. Instructor Linda Mulvany, a Brookings resident, has taught a variety of art classes for many years in the San Francisco Bay area. Classes are designed for those with no art experience as well as artists looking for a re-vitalizing art experience.

Sign up for the Restore and Rejuvenate art workshop and enjoy an afternoon of art indulgence to relax and honor yourself with simple inspiring art projects before you enter the busy holiday season. Make a decorated candle, a colored bead hanging for your window and/or a beautiful mirror. Class is scheduled for 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12 at the Port Orford Arts Council A-frame in Buffington Park.

Pre-registration is required. The cost of each workshop is $25.00, materials included. For registration or more information about these classes and others available, contact the Gold Beach Center at 541 247-2741.
