Southwestern Oregon Community College is offering a PowerPoint workshop on Monday and Wednesday, Aug. 4 and 6, in Brookings.

Students can learn to create impressive presentations using the tools available in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and master the basics of graphic image editing including cropping, resizing and bordering. Participants also can learn to punch up their presentations using clip art, animation and videos, as well as how to prepare speaker notes to accompany presentations.

The two-day workshop – taught by instructor Ira Tozer – is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday, Aug. 4 and 6, at the Southwestern Brookings Center, 420 Alder St., in Brookings. The cost of the workshop is $25.
