Test Anxiety Workshop Offered In Brookings

Does the thought of midterm tests make you anxious? Learn new skills to cope with test anxiety from Ron Bell, Professor and Counselor at Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay. Professor Bell will be presenting a workshop on Test Anxiety at Southwestern’s Curry Campus on Friday, November 16, from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm. This workshop is open to all students currently enrolled in classes at the college. Ron Bell has taught at Southwestern since 1999. He has two master’s degrees: a Master of Counseling from Arizona State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Playwriting from UCLA. In addition to doing personal and career counseling, Professor Bell has developed courses which address math and test anxiety. A lifelong learner, Ron's interests include Ericksonian Hypnosis, biofeedback, animation and moviemaking, computer programming, mathematics, piano, and the science of golf.
