Male student

Students can register for online classes just as they would for any other class offered at SWOCC.

  • If you will be attending Full-time, you will need to complete an Application for Admission. If you will be attending less than full-time, you are not required to complete the application for admission.
  • You will receive your myLakerLink i.d. and password.
  • Before you register using myLakerLink the first time, you will first need to complete the Student Record Form, which takes 48 hours to go through.
  • Log in to myLakerLink, then click on Add/Drop Courses.
  • If you know the course codes for the classes you are registering for, then type those in and click the Add Course(s) button.
  • If you aren't sure what the course codes are, or you want to look at course availability first, then click on the Course Search tab. Choose by subject (labled Department) and choose "All" under Division.Then click on the Search button.
  • Make arrangements for payment with the Student First Stop Center at (541) 888-7352.
    • Registering for an online class creates a financial obligation on your part (You have reserved a space in the class that is not available for anyone else).
    • You may drop classes within the second week of the term and receive a full refund. If you later decide, for whatever reason, to drop a class, you will still be financially responsible.
    • Technical difficulties (unless verified by the host/provider college), lack of financial aid, or not being prepared for the coursework will not excuse you.
    • PLEASE BE SURE TO FORMALLY REMOVE YOURSELF FROM YOUR ONLINE CLASS WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK OF THE TERM IF YOU DO NOT FEEL YOU CAN COMPLETE THE COURSE.
