Our Childhood Education & Family Studies program is a great place to begin to meet your goals of becoming preschool, elementary, or secondary teacher in any public and/or private educational setting.
Early Head Start is a program of South Coast Head Start Center. Center based infant and toddler classrooms are housed at the Family Center. For more information, please contact Early Head Start at 541.888.7938.
The Educare Preschool serves children ages 2.5 to 6 years (if still in kindergarten), with the preschool portion ending at 1 p.m. and aftercare provided for children enrolled in the preschool.
The Family Center operates as the lab school for the Southwestern Childhood Education and Family Studies Program. For application and rate information, contact the Family Center main office.
The Parent Co-op Preschool program serves children ages 2.5 to 6 years old and is offered to students and community children. Each parent assists for a few hours a week. The children are enrolled half days from 8:45 am - 12:30 pm. This Program is not open during the summer.
The Pathways of Positive Parenting project guides and educates parents as they lead their children to social/emotional growth and development and academic readiness.
