Alaska Loans - The State of Alaska offers residents of the State an opportunity to borrow funds in the form of a loan. The loan follows the same guidelines as the Federal Stafford Loan Program, with the exception that the loan is not subject to the subsidized and unsubsidized loan amount limitations. Students may borrow funds to pay for their cost of attendance minus other aid received. Residents of Alaska, please refer to the Alaska Loan Steps webpage in order to apply for the Alaska Loan.
