The Creating Opportunities Campaign at Southwestern Oregon Community College is a major capital and endowment fundraising campaign for a new Curry campus building and scholarship program to ensure the future of our students.

Creating Opportunities for education and training:
Southwestern Oregon Community College plays a vital role in economic and community development through education and training. The Curry County Campus building will provide new classroom and lab space that is essential for student learning. 

Creating Opportunities for student success:
The development of a scholarship endowment within the Southwestern Foundation specifically for Curry students will help them overcome financial obstacles. An endowment for student scholarships will be crucial to assist students in pursuing their dreams.

Scholarships

Giving to provide student’s scholarships plays a vital role in helping students reach their dreams at Southwestern Oregon Community College. The Southwestern Foundation invites you to be a part of the Southwestern student journey by donating to fund scholarships. You may send your contribution to the Southwestern Foundation office, or contact the Executive Director to initiate a named scholarship for students.

The James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation has once again challenged the Southwestern Foundation to increase scholarship donations. The Foundation had the opportunity for $50,000 in student scholarships if an equal amount is raised before March 30, 2010. Please consider giving to student scholarships and helping the Foundation meet our challenge so together we can help more Southwestern students reach their dreams.
