Southwestern develops and submits grants to government agencies (federal, state, and local agencies), foundations, and other funders. The College places precedence on grant opportunities that allow for the indirect costs of grant operations, such as funds that support human resources, accounting, grant development and office space. The College may also prioritize grants based on the award amount, an established relationship with the funder, and the proposed project/program as it relates to current College needs/goals.
