Measurable Objective#1a- 75% of full-time faculty will complete Teaching and Learning Center training, compared to a baseline of 0% in 2005-2006.

Measurable Objective 1b - 60% of full-time faculty will pilot new skills gained from Teaching and Learning Center training in a minimum of three classes, compared to a baseline of 0% in 2005-2006.

Measurable Objective #2 - Improve institutional reasearch by assessing the effectiveness of advising services from a baseline of zero in 2005-2006 to 100% of faculty advisors. 

Measurable Objective #3 - When assessing how frequently students use or access technology for instruction, DECREASE the percentage of responses in the "rarely/never use" and "sometimes use" categories.  2003-2004 Baseline of 54%.

Measurable Objective #4 - Improve student assessment of engagement with learning closing the gap between SOCC and the average of similar colleges by 25% from the 2003-2004 Benchmark of 45.6% for SOCC.

Measurable Objective #5 - Improve student assessment of student services, closing the gap between SOCC and the average of similare colleges by 100% from the 2003-2004 Benchmark Score of 44.1% for SOCC.

Measurable Objective #6 - Increase institutional planning and effectiveness to 100% as measured by the percent of instructional and administrative/student services units that complete the expanded comprehensive institutional assessment cycle compare to 0% in 2005-2006.

Measurable Objective #7- Increase effectiveness of resource allocation to 70% as measured by the percent of instructional and administrative/student services units that justify budget requests with continuous improvement action plans compare to 0% in 2005-2006.

Measurable Objectives #8a - Improve the first term to second term retention of first-time, full-time, degree and certificate-seeking students to 85% from the four-year average baseline of 77.3%.

Measurable Objectives #8b - Improve the fall-to-fall retention/graduation of first-time, full-time, degree and certificate-seeking students.

Measurable Objectives #9- Improve the average within-term students success in developmental math courses to 55% from the average 2005-2006 Baseline of 39.7%.

Measurable Objectives #10- Improve the average within-term student success in developmental writing courses to 55% from the average 2005-2006 Baseline of 40.7%.
