Future Student Housing Residents
Welcome to the web page for future residents!
All first-year students from out-of-district/ out-of-state are required to live on campus. However, there are other reasons to live on campus like friendships, convenience, and cost. Living on campus is an ideal way to start your college experience at Southwestern. Here you'll find a community of students who share your passions and intellectual interests. Whether you're a freshman, transfer student, non-traditional student, or simply hate commuting, Southwestern has housing that will meet your needs.
Each of the apartments in the 18 buildings that make up Student Housing is unique and has a variety of options. All apartments offer single rooms and double rooms. Students may elect to live in a double as a single if no singles are available. All apartments offer internet connections in each room, as well as cable access. Students are welcome to utilize the Housing computer lab found in Willamette River, any of the three laundry rooms found in Trinidad Head, Willamette River, and the Lighthouse Depot, and the Student Lounge in the Lighthouse Depot.
On campus, you'll enjoy independence, convenience, and easy access to classes and activities. Not to mention opportunities for self-discovery and plenty of good times with new friends. Interested in an apartment for the upcoming academic year? Information about the application process, forms, and more can be found by selecting the appropriate links on the left-hand side of this page.
