From October 1, we will be no longer have services through Blue Cross Blue Shield and Advantage Dental for our medical/vision/prescription and dental insurance respectively. ODS Insurance will be our insurance carriers for medical, vision, prescription and dental coverage. For more information about our new insurance, please click on the "Resource Link" section on the left column and click on the "ODS Insurance" link.  FAQ page, provider search/nomination, preferred drug list, and plan summaries are available.

As you know, we have many changes happening with our medical and dental insurance. Our new provider for medical, dental, RX and vision is ODS.

In the coming week you will be receiving directions from OEBB (Oregon Educators Benefits Board) on how to enroll online for your new plans. Open enrollment will take place from August 15 to September 15. You will not be able to get into the OEBB system before August 15.

I am scheduling a meeting with all eligible staff to go over the plan choices, summaries and the enrollment process - please check your email for specified times for your employee group.

We will also schedule an open enrollment day to help you enroll for your benefits online using the OEBB system. Staff in Human Resources/Payroll has attended mandatory training for this purpose and we are ready to help.
