International Transcripts Evaluation

Foreign-educated applicants must present an evaluation of all required academic documents compiled by an independent academic credential evaluation provider. American Heritage Admissions requires that all applicants use World Education Services for this service and we recommend that you review the Frequently Asked Questions listed on the WES website. Click here to apply for this evaluation. WES requires a fee from the applicant for processing applications.

Please make note of the following:

College transcripts from schools outside of the Continental United States must be evaluated by a third party Evaluation Company. Students are required to pay the fees charged for the evaluation services.

Southwestern recommends one of the following services:

Academic Credential Evaluation Institute, Inc.
ACEI Inc. www.acei1.com
PO Box 6908 acei@acei1.com
Beverly Hills, CA 90212 (310)275-3530

From ACEI, we need the “Comprehensive Report.” This gives us a full break down of the course descriptions and the grading scale translation to a 4.0 grading scale.

Josef Silny & Associates
www.jsilny.com, info@jsilny.com
7101 SW 102 Avenue
Miami , FL 33173 (305) 273-1616
FAX: (305) 273-1338 or (305) 273-1984 (translations)

From Josef Silny & Associates we will need the “University and Post-Secondary Course-by-Course.” This gives us a full break-down of the course descriptions and the grading scale translation to a 4.0 grading scale.

Please send results of the evaluation to the International Student Program office. DO NOT OPEN TRANSCIPTS FROM COLLEGE AS THIS WILL MAKE THEM UNOFFICIAL!

Helpful Reminders:

Once we have received the evaluation, it will then be equated to Southwestern courses. A class equivalency evaluation will be sent to you, which will list what courses have been transcripted for credit at Southwestern.
