Interlibrary Loan

When an item needed by a patron is not available from a COASTLINE library, the library will request books/media and periodical articles from other libraries across the country.

Requesting an interlibrary loan online:

  • A valid COASTLINE library card number must be included on the request form in order to process the request. If you don't already have a card, print the COASTLINE library card application and take to local library or campus site, or obtain application there.
  • Online interlibrary loan service is available to all Coos County patrons and a privilege extended to all and Southwestern Distance learners and currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff of the Southwestern college community in Coos and Curry counties.

Southwestern Distance learners must pickup and return items at Southwestern Library. When a student is registered with a Curry county campus,  periodical articles requested can be picked up there. Requesting interlibrary loan items from a local library may provide faster service.
