The Southwestern Library offers a wide array of resources to help you reach academic success.
A large collection of encyclopedias helps students get started on understanding their research topics, while more than 60 electronic databases provide access to scholarly journals, popular magazines and newspapers.
Thousands of books are on library shelves to meet the needs of students and faculty in every SWOCC department. If you don't find what you need, library staff can help you locate the right resources at other libraries in Coos County or beyond.
The library offers quiet study space as well as electric outlets for you to recharge your devices while you work. And if you need to recharge, check out a DVD or Blu-ray or one of your favorite magazines.
The Southwestern Library also is open to the public, and it is a bonus for SWOCC staff, who can stop by to check out movies or do some research on computers or in the stacks.
The library staff is happy to answer questions or point you toward resources that can help.
