The library lends books, audio and video cassettes, CDs, slides, and maps. Reference books, periodicals newer than five years, and some Course Reserve materials are for use in the library only. Microform reader/printers and copy machines are available; compliance with current copyright law is the responsibility of the user.
- Borrowers must have a current COASTLINE library card in order to check out materials.
- There is a system-wide checkout limit of 50 items.
- Borrowers must adhere to library circulation policies and be responsible for fines/charges incurred.
- Holds may be placed on most circulating materials. Exceptions are Course Reserve materials and CDs.
Renewals:
- Circulating materials may be renewed twice in person or by phone provided a Hold Request has not been placed on the item.
Return of Materials:
- General Circulation materials may be returned to any COASTLINE library.
- Course Reserve materials, newspapers, magazines, and interlibrary loans must be returned to the Southwestern library.
