WHAT: Officials from Southwest Oregon Community College, AT&T – Oregon, and Coos Watershed Association will announce a $25,000 award from AT&T to Southwest Oregon Community College. The award will leverage a local match of $110,033 to use wireless devices to track Coho salmon and teach entry-level students how to design a scientific study, develop research hypotheses, and incorporate the latest technology in natural resource science.
