GOLD BEACH, OR – Southwestern Oregon Community College is offering a free two-hour money management class. The session will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on June 16 at the Brooking Center, located at 420 Alder Street.
The class is presented by Elke Dodd from the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Coos-Curry (CCCS). In about two hours you will learn the skills required to live on the money you make, pay your bills on time, make payments count and work toward financial freedom. It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s for everyone. The class includes developing a budget, planning to reach your financial goals, buying wisely, tracking your expenses, savings, wise use of credit and understanding credit reports.
