GED Orientations Scheduled for Summer Term


Coos Bay, OR – The Transitional Education Department, a college and career preparation program at Southwestern Oregon Community College, will be offering GED test preparation, college and career planning, and college placement test preparation for Summer term. These classes are geared for students who are planning to enter college, training programs and/or jobs in high-demand career areas.
 
Orientation is scheduled for June 24th – 26th, 2014, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Newmark Center, directly across from Wal-Mart, on the second floor, room 204. Please call 541-888-7116 to reserve a space for the summer orientation.
 
Classes will be held Tuesday through Thursday mornings between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm and evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Summer Transitional Education administrative hours are: Tuesday through Thursday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
 
We also offer GED classes in Port Orford, Gold Beach and Brookings. Please call 541-469-5017 for information on Curry classes.
The cost per term is $50.

The next orientation is scheduled for September 2nd – September 4th, 2014.
