Coos Bay, OR – Southwestern Oregon Community College’s Small Business Development Center (Southwestern SBDC) wants to help your small business learn the tricks and techniques used by the best sales people to be more successful. Ever wonder how some business people can close sales without seeming to try? In this workshop you will learn how to find qualified leads. You will have an opportunity to practice making a strong sales pitch. Participants will gain insights on how to overcome objections and learn how to know when it’s time to close the sale.
Improving Sales Skills will be taught by Pam de Jong. Ms. De Jong has a broad range of experience that gives her a unique perspective on business. She spent 13 years in the Securities Industry (Merrill Lynch/Head Operations Controller, Smith Barney/Licensed Associate). Her background includes 4 years as Office Administrator for Private Family Trust and Foundation. Pam has a MBA (Masters in Business Administration/Strategic Leadership) from Dominican University San Rafael California. For 9 years she owned Home-Office-Life Management Services a management consulting business which moved to Coos Bay in 2006. For the past 5 years Pam has been teaching business classes at the SWOCC Small Business Development Center.
A fee of $45 per person will be charged. Seating is limited. Preregistration at www.BizCenter.org is required to insure seating availability and materials.
