Southwestern Oregon Community College and Oregon State University sign forestry articulation agreement
Southwestern is pleased to announce a new cooperative agreement between the College and the Oregon State University (OSU) School of Forestry. A ceremony to mark the first-ever such agreement between OSU Forestry and a community college is scheduled at 4 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 21, in Tioga 505 at SWOCC.

Oregon Coast Culinary Institute to offer two special 4-course lunches in September
OCCI’s talented chef instructors, a decorated graduate from the 2012 Youth Team, and current students are preparing to compete in the "Culinary Cup" competition in Orlando, Florida being held later in September. COOS BAY, OR – DJ Anderson, a guard for the Southwestern Oregon Community College (SWOCC) Men’s Basketball team, will sign a national letter of intent on Wednesday, April 30 to continue playing basketball next year in Minnesota at Bemidji State University, a NCAA Division II school and member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
