Coos Bay, OR. - Looking for something to do with your pet?  The fifth annual Mutt Strut, a fundraiser for the Retired and Senior Volunteers Program (RSVP) is happening on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Mingus Park. Chef Jardin, of Black Market Gourmet, will lead the fun! Come be part of the games including: Pet\Owner Look Alike, Pet Tricks and Best Dressed Mutt. The contests will be judged by local celebrity judges. Bring your favorite four legged friend(s), join in the contests for $5.00 per contest ($10.00 for all 3) or just come and watch. There will be lots of great prizes furnished by Coos Grange Supply. New this year there will be “Pooch Pictures.” Come and see your friends from Furry Friends Therapy Dogs, Friends of Coos County Animal Shelter (FOCCAS), Fun Characters, Think Pawsitive Agility & Search & Rescue Pooch Demonstrations. Fun food available including hot dogs and ice cream supplied by Umpqua Bank. If you don’t have a favorite four legged friend, we are looking for volunteers. It is for a great cause…the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
