COOS BAY, OR – The Southwestern Oregon Community College Board of Education adopted a mandatory prequalification procedure Monday to be used to prequalify all prospective contractors to submit offers to act as general contractor on the new Curry Campus project in Brookings.
The firm of Crow/Clay & Associates, Inc. has been retained by the college to prepare the request for qualifications which will obtain information to enable the college to properly evaluate the standards of responsibility and eligibility for prospective contractors to submit offers to act as general contractor for the project.
The college will then solicit bids from prequalified entities to act as a general contractor in the construction of the Brookings facility.
The document provides details such as the project description, timeline, instructions, requirements, and evaluation criteria. A copy of the request for qualifications and/or additional information will be posted to the Curry Campus website (www.socc.edu/curry).
Bids for this project are scheduled to go out in April and the contractor selection is planned for May.
