Southwestern to offer flagger trainings


Southwestern Oregon Community College is hosting a Traffic Control Flagger training classes July 10th on the Coos Bay campus.

The College offers the training sessions in order to meet demand for certified flaggers created by road construction projects. This course meets Oregon Department of Transportation requirements for traffic control flaggers, and students who complete this course will receive certification cards.

Class is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday in Coos Bay. The course covers certification, as well as re-certification, and class space is limited. The $85 class fee covers all materials, and pre-registration and payment is required.
