Basic Nursing Assistant

This course prepares a Basic Nursing Assistant to be eligible for certification as out lined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. The student is prepared to care for clients in a variety of settings including long-term care, intermediate care, home health, hospice care, acute care, foster care, and assisted living situations.

Prerequisite: CPR Certification: Heartsaver from the American Heart Association or Adult CPR from the American Red Cross; Pre-application testing, health assessment, immunization status.
