We have chosen Curricula for all ages and stages of youth development and parenting needs using "research based best practices" in parenting. The following is a summary of our current curricula based programs.
A 6 week program for parents and caregivers with youth ages 10-14 This is a unique program that includes workshops for both the youth as well as their parents and caregivers. Youth attend their own session where they learn peer refusal skills, how to handle stress and how to better understand their parents. Adults learn about balancing love and setting limits, how to communicate effectively with their youth and how to hold family meetings.

A 10 week series for parents and caregivers. One of the most important things we can do for our children is to take care of and nurture ourselves. You as a parent are the most important person in your child's life. Feeling balanced and able to effectively communicate as parents makes our most important job a pleasure. The activities and ideas learned from this program will benefit anyone who works with children of any age.

This is a 7 week series. This is a slightly condensed version of our "Make Parenting A Pleasure" curriculum. This shortened format allows the program to fit specialized formats.
This is a 10 week series. Have you ever felt like you wanted to learn how to PLAY more with your child? This program has lots of play time written into the curriculum. Make your time with your young child incredible.

This is a 7-10 week Early Literacy Series. The purpose of the "Reading for Healthy Families" project is to teach new parents about the value of reading to their children-even to babies and toddlers. Many parents can still recite their child's favorite bedtime story from memory after reading it at bedtime for months on end. Sharing stories with children helps prepare them to enter school ready to learn while strengthening family bonds.

This is a three part parenting series that focuses on the developmental stages of children in the early years. It empowers parents to take on the role of their child's first teacher and lays the foundation for parents to gain greater understanding and appreciation of their unique child.
Parenting the First Three Years: Incredible Infants
This is a 10 week series focused on parenting infants and helps parents learn how to take care of themselves so they can take care of their infant. Parents learn how to tune into a new baby and build strong family bonds fright from the start. They also learn about brain development, ways to have fun with their baby and keep the baby safe as he or she begins to explore. Parents learn practical helpful answers to day-to-day questions.
Parenting the First Three Years: Wonderful One's
This is a 10 week series focused on parenting one year old's and guides parents the challenges presented by walking, climbing toddlers who are long on energy and short on understanding. Parent educators emphasize the importance of routines; prevention of meltdowns and accidents, and taking their child's side while he or she is learning the rules of the world. This series will further explore attachment & bonding by introducing Infant Massage.
