Student comments and satisfaction are key elements to evaluating our services. 87% of our graduating students who completed the Graduation Survey indicated they were satisfied or very satisfied with their educational experience, expectations and needs at Southwestern.
The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) "is a system of surveys designed to collect data from all primary providers of postsecondary education. IPEDS is a single, comprehensive system designed to encompass all institutions and educational organizations whose primary purpose is to provide postsecondary education. The IPEDS system is built around a series of interrelated surveys to collect institution-level data in such areas as enrollments, program completions, faculty, staff, and finances." To view Southwestern institutional data as well as other postsecondary institutions, visit the IPEDS Cool system. Enter the institution name in the quick search area and submit, then click on the institution and the profile will be displayed. Click items from the list on the left-hand side to display data reported to IPEDS by the institution. Student Right To Know data, campus crime statistics, student loan default rates, graduation and retention rates, financial aid data and other related data is easily accessed from this site.
