Adult Learning Skills
The Adult Learning Skills Program provides access to information, skills and resources for individuals who are in the process of a major life change. A variety of classes and support services are available to prepare participants for success in their families, in the workforce and in academic programs.

Bookstore
The Southwestern Bookstore has all the books and materials you need to start classes, and they also carry several other items such as snacks, clothes, Southwestern memorabilia and gifts.

Care Connections
Child and Adult Resources and Education. There mission is to improve the quality of life for people of all ages by providing education information support to families and care providers in Coos and Curry Counties.

Educational Support Programs and Services
ESPS offers the following services: Counseling, Career and Transfer Center, Academic Advising, Orientation, Testing Services, Student Support Services, Educational Talent Search and Disability Services for Students.

Family Center
An on-campus facility for parents, young children, and early childhood education students.

Financial Aid
Find information on Federal grants and loans, work-study and scholarships.

Internships
It is Southwestern Oregon Community College's goal to provide a meaningful internship experience for every student. Within these pages, you will find information on the internship sites and careers and the process to get started in an internship.

Mail & Print Services
Mail & Print Services provides duplicating, bindary, mailing of all classes of mail, and student mail.

Online Tutoring Lab
Current students can sign up free for online "Peer Tutor's" to assist with many subjects the student needs a bit of help with.

Retired Senior Volunteer Program
In Coos County, 600 RSVP volunteers contribute more than 100,000 hours serving 100 organizations. Our volunteers gave Coos County more than $1.5 million worth of services that could not otherwise have been provided.

Service-Learning, Internship, and Civic Engagement
Service-Learning is a “course-based, educational experience that enriches learning by engaging students in meaningful service to their schools and communities.”

Student Housing
The student housing apartments are located at the west edge of campus along the shore of beautiful Empire Lakes. They offer an environment conducive to development and growth academically, socially and personally.

Tutoring Lab
To meet the academic tutoring needs of all Southwestern Oregon Community College students through the use of certified subject area specialists.

Veterans
All Southwestern Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science degree programs are approved for VA benefits by the Veterans Administration. The Veterans Service Office in Dellwood Hall oversees veteran students' enrollment in these programs.
