Online Loan Entrance Counseling Session

Students who borrow under the Federal Family Education Loan Program are required to complete counseling before receiving loan proceeds from their first loan and again shortly before graduating or otherwise leaving school.

Once you click on the "Mapping Your Future" logo below, you will want to click on the Start button to begin the counseling session. If you have any questions as you complete the counseling requirements, you may contact Southwestern's Financial Aid Representative at the Student First Stop Center at (541) 888-7337 or click the "Online Help" link in the upper right-hand corner of the online entrance counseling pages.

To finalize your loan entrance counseling session through Mapping Your Future, click the "Exit" button on your confirmation page. You will then be directed to our recommended lenders list with links to the online loan applications (MPN's).

When asked to give two references at the completion of the Mapping Your Future entrance counseling session, be sure that they are different than those listed on the loan application.

• after two attempts at the online test, contact the Financial Aid Office
• if you need accommodations due to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), contact the Financial Aid Office
