Textbooks are arranged on shelves and tags identify course number and
title, author of text, text title, instructor’s name and the
term.
New Book Refunds:
A request for a full refund must be accompanied by the cash register
receipt. Full refunds will be given for books returned up to the second
Friday of each term. Books must not be written in. If the book is shrink-wrapped,
do not open it until you have verified the text with the instructor
and are sure you want to take the class.
Used Book Buy-Backs:
The Bookstore purchases books during finals week for each term. It
pays a portion of the purchase price for good used books that will
be used the following term and for which existing stock is inadequate.
Books are bought back daily by the Bookstore at the prices listed in
the Wholesale Buyer’s Guide.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER
Business Enterprise Center, 756-6866
The Southwestern Business Development Center (BDC) is located off
campus at the Business Enterprise Center in North Bend and in Brookings.
The
BDC provides services to both existing business owners and those starting
a business; including confidential business advising, workshops and
training programs, and resource information related to marketing
issues, financing
sources, record keeping, business regulations, business expansion,
and other business matters.
CAFETERIA
Empire Hall
Premier Services Group is the College's food service provider. The
cafeteria serves a wide variety of hot and cold foods. For further
